Steven & Elaine Logan - 01/16/2012
About a month ago, after having difficulty with being able to listen to UBM in my car (it has an older CD player), I thought I would get an MP3 player. Well, I looked about a bit and found one for $39.99; it was a Sansa and within 10 days it broke. As a matter of fact, when I had finally bought the cassette converter to plug it into the car's cassette player, the MP3 player shut down and refused to work. I prayed, "Lord, You know I want to play this in the car".
Steven and I were researching players and it seemed that the iPod was the best, but hard to find a used one, and they are quite pricey. So on the day I was sending the broken one back, I was sharing with a co-worker that I had to send it back and I was bummed. She said, "You want a player? I have one in my desk". What do you know, she brought me over an old iPod that has a 4G memory and it was free! How awesome.
I took the iPod to the car to try it with the cassette converter but the cassette converter would not stay in the cassette player; it kept popping out. Well, I looked all over for the receipt for the cassette converter but I knew I had thrown the packaging away. I also knew my husband would not be happy that I had thrown these things away prior to verifying the player worked.
In the meantime, I have been listening to the Real Good News and know now that whatsoever I ask for in prayer with faith I shall receive. So I took the cassette converter and prayed over it and pushed it back into my car's player, and it popped out again. I said, "No, I am not receiving that" and pushed it back in. Well, what do you know, it worked and has been working fine since. Praise the Lord!
