Discipline of the Unruly

Eve Brast - 02/28/2013
Notes: [ Deb | David ]

I haven't dreamed of an angel as fearsome as this one before!

I dreamed I was with three brothers (representing body, soul and spirit) who had a popular praise and worship band (it may have been the Newsboys). ( They are a Christian pop-rock band. The Gospel is the good news that is about to rock the world.) They were in a white '50s-style (the Jubilee is almost upon us; 50=5x10 which is grace perfected) convertible (open to the sky, open to heavenly influence) with maroon leather (the beast nature conquered by the Blood) seating and interior; they were downcast and discouraged and I was trying to help them understand what was happening in the dream. (It wasn't revealed to me what had happened or was happening in the dream itself.) (Chastening is grievous but yields the peaceable fruit of salvation.)

Suddenly, a messenger/soldier angel (angels are ministering spirits) came galloping up to me, quickly, on a light-colored horse. (Representing the spirit in control of the flesh.) (I couldn't remember if it was white or light gray dappled because his approach was so startling! So I asked the Father to give me a verse about the horse and my finger landed on the last part of {2Pe.2:3} ... and their destruction slumbereth not. Verse 5 is very interesting, considering what the angel said to me and the fact that my oldest son's name is Noah. {5} ... and spared not the ancient world, but preserved one of eight, Noah, a preacher of righteousness, when he brought a flood upon a world of the ungodly. So it was a dapple horse.) (A dappled horse is a horse with spots. A horse represents the flesh. A dappled horse could represent "the garment spotted by the flesh", or the body, which would also explain why the boys were discouraged.) (This angel is in charge of the people of God who are fleshly in their works, especially false leaders. He uses them to test and purify those who are being sanctified. He then judges them according to their works, reaping what they sow, and if they are ashamed of their works, like Paul and Peter were, they are brought to repentance. If, when leaders are judged, they do not repent, God will turn up the fire until they repent or are reprobated. We are seeing this happen".)

He brought the horse around after an abrupt stop. The horse seemed fresh and raring to go and was whinnying and snorting and pawing at the ground. (The horse represents these spotted Christians who are ready to judge those more righteous than they.) The angel had golden-colored hair (sunlight; thoughts of the Son-light) that curled about shoulder-length. (Long hair is submission to the Son.) He wore a pure white Roman-looking toga (we are living in the last days of the revived Roman Empire [which this angel and his works are judging]) with a dark red cloak that was pinned on the left shoulder with a large golden broach or cloak pin. He had Roman sandals that laced up his calves and he carried in his right hand a long flaming torch that he was holding up (reminds me of the torches Gideon's men carried) and the horse's reins were in his left hand. (He exercises authority over and disciplines the Christians who walk on the left.)

He looked down at me. He was fearsome in appearance. I was still startled by him and I still had my right arm raised over my head in an automatic but feeble attempt to shield myself from him. He asked me, very demanding and authoritatively, "Where are your sons?!" I said, "They (Noah, Elijah and Josiah) are with their father in the school". (Those who are with the Father and staying in school will be saved from this angel's judgments. These names are all used as types of Man-children, reformers and those who escape judgment through righteousness.) He then commanded me to, "Tell them, they will be saved! Spirit, soul and body". Great emphasis was placed on the words "will" and "body" when he said it. {1Th.5:23} And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (24) Faithful is he that calleth you, who will also do it. Then he galloped away to begin his mission. (We can expect the carnal Christians who are judging others to be judged in a greater way than normal soon.) I asked the Father when I woke up, "What do the angel's words mean?" My finger was on {1Co.12:31} But desire earnestly the greater gifts. And moreover a most excellent way show I unto you. (Love is the most excellent way mentioned in the next verse. The ministering spirits will teach the spotted ones love or else, and they will spare those who have love already.) It is neat that the angel put an emphasis on the word "body" because that is what Paul talked about throughout chapter 12 -- the members of the body of Christ!

I was repeating to myself the words of the angel over and over as I woke up. Then I noticed that a song was playing in my mind in the background while I said the words of the angel. The words were, "You stay the same through the ages. Your love never changes. There may be pain in the night, but joy comes in the morning". (The flesh is a restless beast and must be chastened and brought into submission to the Lord. {Heb.12:11} All chastening seemeth for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yieldeth peaceable fruit unto them that have been exercised thereby, even the fruit of righteousness. {Psa.30:5} For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a life-time: Weeping may tarry for the night, But joy cometh in the morning .) I had heard this song on local Christian radio a few times but wasn't sure who sang it, so I looked it up and found that it is sung by the Newsboys. I noticed in the lyrics that it says, "The wind is strong and the waters deep". (Representing the tribulations coming upon those who walk in the flesh.) These are the Father's flood waters that are quickly rising. (These will drive some of the carnal to seek safety in Christ. Everyone else will be reprobated.) (The lyrics are listed below.)

I asked the Father for a couple of verses for this dream. When I flipped my Numeric Bible open, my finger was on {Act.2:39} For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call unto Him. The second was {Rom.15:17} I have therefore the glorying in Christ Jesus in the things pertaining unto God.

I asked for a verse for the brothers in the convertible and got, {Act.26:10} ... which also I did in Jerusalem: and I both shut up many of the saints in prisons, having received authority from the chief priests, and when they were put to death I also gave my vote against them. (People who were persecutors like Paul were brought to shame by their persecution [and perfection] of the saints and were motivated to prove themselves righteous.)

I then asked why the angel carried a flaming torch and not a sword and I received {Luk.8:31} And they entreated him that he would not command them to depart into the abyss. {38} But the man from whom the demons were gone out prayed him that he might be with him: but he sent him away, saying, {39} Return to thy house, and declare how great things God hath done for thee. And he went his way, publishing throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done for him. (What a chastening this man endured and how he appreciated grace afterwards. Kind of like Nebuchadnezzar after losing his mind to the Beast for seven years praised and exalted the God of Heaven who had abased him.)

Newsboys - "Your Love Never Fails" Lyrics

Nothing can separate
Even if I run away
Your love never fails
I know I still make mistakes
You have new mercy for me everyday
Cause Your love never fails
Oh No No No
You stay the same through the ages
Your love never changes
There may be pain in the night
But joy comes in the morning
The wind is strong and the water's deep

But I'm not alone here in these open seas
Cause Your love never fails
The chasm is far too wide
I never thought I'd reach the other side
But Your love never fails

Oh No Oh No...Yeah
You stay the same through the ages
Your love never changes
There may be pain in the night
But joy comes in the morning

And when the oceans rage
I don't have to be afraid
Because I know that You love me
Your love never fails

You make all things work together for my good
(GOD you never fail me)
You make all things work together for my good
(No, You never fail me)
You stay the same through the ages
Your love never changes
There may be pain in the night
But joy comes in the morning
And when the oceans rage
I don't have to be afraid
Because I know that You love me

Your love never fails
Cause Your love never fails

Judgment of the False Leaders
David - 03/10/2013

At the time of the Man-child, who is Jesus in His first-fruits, typed by Joshua who is the branch spoken of in Zechariah, there was a major judgment against the wicked leaders.

{Zec.3:8} Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou and thy fellows that sit before thee; for they are men that are a sign: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch. {9} For, behold, the stone (Jesus, which the builders rejected) that I have set before Joshua; upon one stone are seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith Jehovah of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. (Man-child to be anointed on one day) {10} In that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, shall ye invite every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig-tree. (The coming Great revival.)

And Zerubbabel, meaning "born from Babylon", was also shown as that type in the text.

{4:7} Who art thou, O great mountain? (the Kingdom of God) before Zerubbabel [thou shalt become (Note: not in the Hebrew)] a plain; and he shall bring forth the top stone (Chief Cornerstone) with shoutings of Grace, grace, unto it. {8} Moreover the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, {9} The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you. (Notice that before Zerubbabel there was only a plain, for He built the new house from its foundation.)

At that time, a judgment is spoken against the false leaders who had stolen a position of authority over God's people that they were not ordained to and spoken falsely against their brothers. The Pharisees were a type for their kind today and were a prime example of this theft and slander, to whom Jesus said it was not given to them to know the mysteries of the Kingdom; i.e., reprobation.

{5:1} Then again I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, a flying roll. {2} And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits. {3} Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole land: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off (stolen offices or positions - See John below) on the one side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off (slanderers, speaking against brethren - See John below) on the other side according to it. {4} I will cause it to go forth, saith Jehovah of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief (stolen offices or positions), and into the house of him that sweareth falsely (slanderers, speaking against brethren) by my name; and it shall abide in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof. {5} Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth. {6} And I said, What is it? And he said, This is the ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their appearance in all the land {7} (and, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead); and this is a woman sitting in the midst of the ephah. {8} And he said, This is Wickedness: and he cast her down into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. (In bondage under the curse.) {9} Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there came forth two women, and the wind was in their wings; now they had wings like the wings of a stork; and they lifted up the ephah between earth and heaven. {10} Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah? {11} And he said unto me, To build her a house in the land of Shinar (in bondage in Babylon): and when it is prepared (tribulation), she shall be set there in her own place.

The religious leaders were called thieves by Jesus because of usurping positions they had never lived. {Joh.10:1} Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. {2} But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. {3} To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. {4} When he hath put forth all his own, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. {5} And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. {6} This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. {7} Jesus therefore said unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. {8} All that came before me are thieves and robbers (all who came before the Man-child were thieves): but the sheep did not hear them. {9} I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture. {10} The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy (these false leaders have destroyed many Christians with justifying their own wicked life with their perverted doctrines): I came that they may have life, and may have [it] abundantly. {11} I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd layeth down his life for the sheep.

Concerning the dream above, Belinda received this same Zechariah text: "in the fourth chariot grizzled strong horses"

{6:1} And again I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass. (Brass here represents maturity through fire. The mountains can represent the two kingdoms of Israel and the Church.) {2} In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; {3} and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grizzled strong horses. Grizzled can mean partly gray or streaked with gray, like some beards. Dappled or brindle is another term that can describe this or a similar pattern. Dappled was used above, which spiritually means a mixture, uncleanness, impurity, in the flesh represented by the grizzled or dappled horse in the dream above.

Then again the Word goes back to speak about the Man-child, which makes me think the judgment of the false leaders is during the time of the anointing of the Man-child, the Branch.

{11} yea, take [of them] silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua (Jesus) the son of Jehozadak, the high priest; {12} and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build the temple of Jehovah.

Notice: The Man-child shall grow up "out of his place" and below we see "from among your brethren".

{Act.3:22} Moses indeed said, A prophet shall the Lord God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me. This is spoken of Jesus and Jesus in the Man-child as a repetition of history on a larger scale. To him shall ye hearken in all things whatsoever he shall speak unto you. {23} And it shall be, that every soul that shall not hearken to that prophet, shall be utterly destroyed from among the people. Now you see why the Pharisees were reprobated and why they will be today also.
