Falling Away From the Bride

Belinda Anderson - 01/01/2013
(David's notes in red)

I dreamt I was driving on a freeway (the Highway of Holiness) that was five (grace) lanes wide. (The Highway of Holiness leads to Zion, the place of the Bride. {Isa.35:8} And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but is shall be for [the redeemed]: the wayfaring men, yea fools, shall not err [therein]. {9} No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast go up thereon; they shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk [there]: {10} and the ransomed of Jehovah shall return, and come with singing unto Zion [the Bride]; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Notice that the beastly flesh may not go to the Bride because it cannot be on the highway that goes there. Therefore, those in this condition must fall away from this highway. Read on.)

I was surrounded by cars (Christians) as far as I could see in front of me, behind me and all around me. It was bumper-to-bumper traffic (unity, one in Christ Jesus) and we were moving ahead slowly but steadily (keeping our eyes on Jesus). {Heb.12:2} looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. I was joyful and praising the Lord for being surrounded by so many cars (Christians). Then, suddenly, I noticed traffic was speeding up and we were no longer moving along bumper-to-bumper (the unity had been broken). (Why were all these people on this road? Because of Grace, but grace is removed when knowledge of sin comes and disobedience remains. {10:26} For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins, {27} but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which shall devour the adversaries.)

I started to see large gaps between the cars (division had crept in). {Rom.16:17} Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them that are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which ye learned: and turn away from them. {18} For they that are such serve not our Lord Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and fair speech they beguile the hearts of the innocent. {Act.20:30} and from among your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them.

I asked the Lord, "Where are all the cars? Where did they go?" As I got a mile or so up the freeway, I saw two off-ramps (off-ramps only go down; deceptive spirits that cause God's people to go back into the world) -- one to the left and one to the right -- and I saw many cars (Christians) getting off the freeway onto these off-ramps (the falling away). {Deu.17:16} Only he shall not multiply horses (powered and led by beastly flesh) to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt (the earthly world), to the end that he may multiply horses; forasmuch as Jehovah hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way. {Pro.4:27} Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: Remove thy foot from evil. {Joh.6:64} But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who it was that should betray him. {65} And he said, For this cause have I said unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it be given unto him of the Father. {6:66} (the beast number) Upon this many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. {67} Jesus said therefore unto the twelve, Would ye also go away? {68} Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. Where the Word is not followed, there is no eternal life.)

I started honking my horn (doing spiritual warfare), trying to get the attention of these drivers so as not to be deceived by these off-ramps; that to get off the freeway is going down into unknown dangers and traps (under the authority of the beast). But these people just kept getting off and as they were getting off the freeway, they were making vulgar hand gestures at me. {1Ti.1:9} as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and unruly, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, (10) for fornicators, for abusers of themselves with men, for menstealers, for liars, for false swearers, and if there be any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine.

I started to weep as I looked all around me and noticed that very few cars (Christians) were left on the freeway. (The Highway of Holiness leads to Zion, the bride. Many are falling away from this high calling. "Many are called but few are chosen.") I asked the Father, "Why did they leave the freeway, Father?" The Father replied, "They tired of the journey". (Go to God by faith for strength, friends.) {Isa.40:29} He giveth power to the faint; and to him that hath no might he increaseth strength. (30) Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: (31) but they that wait for Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint. (The overcomers will be chosen.)
