Great Lake Destroys Mississippi Valley

Rick Harrison - 09/12/2007 (revised 07/05/2012)

At 6:00 AM I woke up from a dream.

In the dream, I was flying a small airplane toward the west in Missouri near the Kentucky and Missouri state line. As I was flying, I noticed columns of black smoke coming from the ground. It filled the sky and was forcing mine and other aircrafts to land. I noticed a helicopter having to land because of the smoke. (Under normal circumstances, smoke is not a problem to fly through. But flying through volcanic ash, now that would force us to land.)

I had no place to land, except a deserted highway. Once I landed, I got out of the airplane and got my flight bag and took off eastward on foot. As I was running through a city, I noticed that the environment look like it was late spring. The Lord showed me it was during the time that students graduate from school. (In the vision, I walked through what I believed to be a high school graduation, which could indicate the birth of the Man-child ministry.)

Later I found myself at what seemed to be the Mississippi River. I had walked up on a bridge that had been partially collapsed. (This bridge I believed to be somewhere near the Missouri and Kentucky border, possibly Cairo, Illinois. Also, I have found out something interesting: the Cairo high school is called the Cairo Pilots.) Part of the bridge on the Missouri side was still holding but had been broken up. There were huge holes that I could see right through. I noticed people jumping off the edge and swimming toward the Kentucky side. (Looking at Google Maps, it is a possibility the bridge connects to Illinois, I-57 or Hwy 60.) I then realized that there had been a major earthquake while I had been flying. Then, suddenly the earth began to shake violently a second time. I saw people bouncing on the bridge uncontrollably in the air between three and five feet. I saw cars at the bottom of the river. I began to try to make it back on to solid ground; then, finally, it stopped shaking. Everything got quiet, so I decided I'd better cross and continue eastward. I noticed the river level dropping quickly. By the time I got down to the river, it was totally empty, so I walked on the surface of the river. There was a bed of rocks that I walked on to get to the other side.

Now I was standing on the KY side of the river and I looked toward the north and saw a highway or interstate deserted. I noticed that the road parallels the river. Next, I was at the edge of a fence with several groups of people trying to find a way through. I looked toward the north and I noticed a heavy amount of traffic racing toward the south at tremendous speeds. Suddenly, I heard a loud roar and saw from the corner of my eye, far to the north, a mighty wall of water. It was as if a huge lake had been dumped into the Mississippi River. I immediately yelled for everyone to run. (Like that is going to do any good, lol. I believed this could be Lake Michigan or part of the Great Lakes being poured into the Mississippi River.) Some of the crowd found a gate and were running through it. The next moment, I found myself reaching the edge of my hometown of Bowling Green, KY. I looked back and saw the powerful water moving toward the south. It seemed as if the city of Bowling Green had just barely escaped this major disaster.

Finally, the voice of God spoke to me as the sound of thunder and said with a loud voice, "MY PEOPLE PARISH BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE!"

I have thought about this message many times. Today I live in Naples, FL, knowing that someday it will be under water. I have had a hard time accepting the fact that so many people are going to die. I stood in Cape Coral, FL with my wife, Jodi, and our beautiful, six-month-old promise child, Amelia Anna-Joy, watching the masses of people celebrate the 4th of July. I thought how many of these people will be floating in the water. I thought of how many churches and good pastors I know who live here. But the Lord reminds me that if my people are not walking in the Spirit, praying in the Spirit and being led in the Spirit, then they will perish, too.

(Joh.16:13) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. To say that this is truly going to happen, men will say, "No way, for God is a God of grace", and then they will ignore the truth. (Mat.7:7) Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: (Joh.8:32) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. All they need to do is seek the Spirit, follow the leading of the Spirit and they shall be made free.)
