Hurricanes / Tornados Bringing Death

Rex Veron - 08/29/2008

I had two dreams in full color on 8/29/08 around 12:00 AM and then 2:00 AM.

First dream

I saw hundreds of different diameter circular saw blades. They were polished bronze in color, ranging from 12 inches to 20 feet or so in diameter. All mingled together. They were not rotating but they had very sharp teeth. When viewed from the air, which is the way I saw them, they looked similar to a hurricane with an eye in the center. Like a hurricane they cut wood in a counter-clockwise motion. They disappeared and I went back to sleep.

Second dream

A multitude of trees, small and huge like the blades, they weren't moving and they were tall. My viewing angle was like standing in a clearing, looking toward a wooded area, and then I got real close to them; they didn't move. I did. Mostly what I could see were the trunks and just the bottom of the foliage. Then all at once in an instant they were gone, just black space. The trees were mottled brown with dark green foliage and the bark was smooth. I had both dreams twice.

David's note: Rex and I both felt that this was speaking of a future cutting down of people on the Gulf Coast of America by hurricanes and tornados, which appear similar to circular saw blades from satellite photos. People are often likened to trees in Scripture. The tall and smooth trees stuck out to me and this text below came to me. In the letter, Ethiopia was also modern Sudan, together being southern Egypt and the seat of rulership of Egypt. They and Judah were threatened by the Assyrian army in the time of Hezekiah (Isa.37:9, 25). Because God wanted to spare Judah, He smote 185,000 Assyrians, which also spared Ethiopia. The Ethiopians then brought a present at the time "of harvest" to the "place of the name", the temple of God. I saw in a vision America as Nineveh, the capital of the Assyrian beast, where Sennacherib their king came from. Here is the fulfillment of the parable. As Americans, the head of the world beast kingdom, are cut down by the Lord's judgments, the dark skinned people, representing those who walk in sin, will be saved and bring an offering to worship in God's temple. Also Judah, the people in whom God's presence dwells, will be spared. This speaks of a revival (v-5,7) because of the judgments on America, "a people terrible from their beginning" who "meteth out and treadeth down" whose land "the rivers divide". Rex had this set of dreams twice because they are a fixed prophecy. {Gen.41:32} And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh, it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

{Isa.18:1} Ah, the land of the rustling of wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia; {2} that sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of papyrus upon the waters, [saying], Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation tall and smooth, to a people terrible from their beginning onward, a nation that meteth out and treadeth down, whose land the rivers divide! {3} All ye inhabitants of the world, and ye dwellers on the earth, when an ensign is lifted up on the mountains, see ye; and when the trumpet is blown, hear ye. {4} For thus hath Jehovah said unto me, I will be still, and I will behold in my dwelling-place, like clear heat in sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest. {5} For before the harvest, when the blossom is over, and the flower becometh a ripening grape, he will cut off the sprigs with pruning-hooks, and the spreading branches will he take away [and] cut down. {6} They shall be left together unto the ravenous birds of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth; and the ravenous birds shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them. {7} In that time shall a present be brought unto Jehovah of hosts [from] a people tall and smooth, even from a people terrible from their beginning onward, a nation that meteth out and treadeth down, whose land the rivers divide, to the place of the name of Jehovah of hosts, the mount Zion.
