Unleavened Bread Ministries with David Eells

Obey and Love, or Be Separated (1)

David Eells - 7/14/21 (As always the audio has more than the text)

Saints please fast and pray about last Sunday’s and todays broadcasts and this dream below and study Ephesians Chapter 4 with a heart to obey it. And let us bind and forbid all spirits of witchcraft, faction, slander, unforgiveness, etc…

Eve received by faith at random on 7/8/21 for our morning prayer meeting Heb. 13:17, Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit to them : for they watch in behalf of your souls, as they that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not with grief: for this were unprofitable for you.

Obey Ephesians 4 and Avoid Separation From the Body

Vanessa Weeks - 7/1/21 (David’s notes in red)

We of UBM were in a house and there was a lot of room(There is a lot of room in the house because the Lord is making room for those who are chosen of Him and desire sanctification to be a part of the Bride and to be joined to our UBM body.  Hardly a day goes by that we don't receive texts that speak of God releasing His people from captivity to return to the real Kingdom of God. The first fruits are a very small group of people. They are the first to come to maturity through the daily sacrifice of their flesh on the alter of sanctification to God. It will be their job to raise up the Church as it was for those first disciples. The people will be delivered from the apostate leadership and those who continue to serve them. God will drain the religious swamp. Mat. 21:43, Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits. Anyone can be replaced. No one is irreplaceable.)

Mat. 25:24-30, And he also that had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art a hard man, reaping where thou didst not sow, and gathering where thou didst not scatter; 25 and I was afraid, and went away and hid thy talent in the earth: (Representing the gifts of God meant to benefit His Kingdom and His people being buried in fleshly desires.) lo, thou hast thine own.

26 But his lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I did not scatter; 27 thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the bankers, and at my coming I should have received back mine own with interest.

28 Take ye away therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him that hath the ten talents. 29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not, even that which he hath shall be taken away. 30 And cast ye out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.)

Vanessa: We were just casually talking, and I saw Missy kneeling in front of a workbench. She was wearing white pants and was painting a picture with watercolors. (This is Missy laboring in prayer while she is walking in righteousness. She is painting a picture by her prayers and the Word of God.) (Missy is representing the Bride. The Word of God is represented by the “Water” colors, which are attributes of the Light, which is the Word, who is Jesus.)

This was peaceful picture of a blue sky and a bright sun with green grass. (The Bride, is hard at work interceding for the people of God through prayers and fasting just as Esther did when her people were under the threat of Haman. She is using her faith, through imagination and intercession, to paint the future for the her and the Church.)

Then David began talking to all of us here in local UBM (Local UBM is being used as a microcosm representing larger UBM)He said, “We need to do what is in Eph. Chapter 4 or there will be a split among us." I was surprised in the dream because, currently, we seem to be walking with the Lord and in unity of the Body. (The Lord is warning us to, “Walk worthily of our calling wherewith we were called…in love.” He has been cleaning us up and cleaning out those who aren’t serious about holiness and the Body ministry of love. He will make a separation if there isn’t true repentance so that His Bride will be spotless and blemish-less.)

When I woke up, I was wondering, “How could this be?", but when I heard the dream that David read at our Friday meeting and to larger UBM on Sunday of a threat of faction titled, "Clean Up to Escape Faction Attack" by Andrew Gelinas, I believed this dream I had is a warning. I also believe that we were fulfilling what Missy was doing in the dream when she kneeled and prayed at the “workbench” on Friday when David, not knowing of my dream, suggested that we all kneel before the Lord and pray in the Spirit and cast down the faction spirits.

Father, please help us to continue to labor in prayer with your Word for our UBM body and the Body of Christ. Also cause us to know what you are saying in Ephesians Chapter 4 and obey your Word so there is no split among us. We ask you for your mercy in Jesus name. Amen.

Reading Eph. 4, we see so much of it is about how to treat each other

Ephesians Chapter 4 is all about walking in love and unity among brethren. In order to do this we must know God's definition of love. It is quite different from the emotional love that humans experience. God’s Agape love is action and not feelings. It is obedience and doing. Jesus said, “If you love Me you will keep my commandments.” “Christians" in name only refuse to obey the Father proving they don't have Agape love.

The Bible Dictionary defines love this way: “Love, whether used of God or man, is an earnest and anxious desire for and an active beneficial interest in the well-being of the loved-one. God is love, which leads Him to express Himself in terms of endearment towards His creatures, and actively to manifest that interest and affection in acts of loving care and self-sacrifice in behalf of the objects of His love.)

1 Co. 13 defines God’s love: 1 Co. 13:1-13  1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal(Love is action and not empty words and you know the old sayings, “Actions speak louder than words.” And “Put your money where your mouth is.” It’s important that we be men and women that keep our word to others; otherwise we bring disrepute on the Name of Christ and we will appear foolish to other people.  Psa 15:1-4, Jehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in thy holy hill? 2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, And speaketh truth in his heart; 3 He that slandereth not with his tongue, Nor doeth evil to his friend, Nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor; 4 In whose eyes a reprobate is despised, But who honoreth them that fear Jehovah; He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not;)

2 And if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. (God considers that loving His Word and obeying it and loving each other is more important than anything else we could do in this life including His gifts.)

3 And if I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned (Numerics - that I may glory), but have not love, it profiteth me nothing. (None of our works will remain; they will all be burned up as stubble if we do not walk in love. 1 Co. 3:10-15 says, According to the grace of God which was given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder I laid a foundation; and another buildeth thereon. But let each man take heed how he buildeth thereon.  11  For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. but if any man buildeth on the foundation gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, stubble; 12 each man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself shall prove each man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work shall abide which he built thereon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as through fire. Since this speaks of building on the foundation of Christ this speaks of Christians having their carnal works burned up to be saved.)

4 Love suffereth long (is patient with others), and is kind (Not mean as a snake like many religious people are); love envieth not (They are not jealous of others)love vaunteth not itself, (To vaunt oneself is to boast or brag, to make a vain display of one’s own worth and attainments: to talk with vain pretentiousness and showiness) is not puffed up(prideful and arrogant)

doth not behave itself unseemly, (meaning: not in accord with accepted standards of decency or morality. Not suited to the circumstances; inappropriate. Unattractive; unsightly.) seeketh not its own, (Love does not seek its own benefit or its own interests and is not self-serving and selfish in its thinking.) is not provoked(can not be instigated to react harshly and rashly) taketh not account of evil; (Love does not keep a running tab of the wrongs of others towards it. Love forgives and forgets and every day begins with a clean new slate as if all the yesterdays never happened.)

rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth; (Love does not approve of or go along with the evil actions of others but rather loves the truth of God’s Word and is loyal to it.)

beareth (Numerics - covereth) all things(Love covereth a multitude of sins. Pro. 17:9 Whoever forgives an offense seeks love, but whoever keeps bringing up the issue separates the closest of friends.) believeth all things, (Love is not suspicious or paranoid and does not accuse in it’s mind. Ecc. 7:21, Also take not heed unto all words that are spoken, lest thou hear thy servant curse thee;)  hopeth all things(Love does not get drug down with discouragement concerning others. It always remains hopeful and choses to continue in faith for the brethren.) endureth all things. (Endure means to suffer something or someone who is difficult, painful or unpleasant; to continue to exist for a long time. To bear up courageously; to tarry or wait for.)

8 Love never faileth … 13 But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love. (This is something to really think about and meditate on!)

Now taking a closer look at Ephesians chapter 4, I’d like to start back in chapter 3 with verses 14-21. This is a really good prayer that Paul prays for power to do love:

Ephesians 3:14-21 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,(Faith in our redemption causes us to be rooted and grounded in Christ's love so that we are strengthened to take ahold of the nature of Christ’s love and be filled with the fullness of God’s Holy Spirit.) 18 may be strong to apprehend (Not comprehend as some versions say) with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fulness of God. (I.e. apprehend all of Christ) 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or thinkaccording to the power that worketh in us, 21 unto him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all generations for ever and ever. Amen. (So now that we have the power we can have the love expressed in chapter 4.)

Eph 4:1-32 I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beseech you to walk worthily of the calling wherewith ye were called, (We are to be prisoners of the Lord just as Paul was. We were ransomed with a price. Jesus died to set us free from sin and the curse. Our lives are not our own but we belong to Jesus and God our Father. We are now His bond servants. Our sole purpose for being here on this earth is to do the will of our Father and not our own will.)

with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; (If we each consider others better than ourselves we will have the humility to be patient and forbearing with each other. This will keep us from falling into criticism and unforgiveness towards others. Jesus came to serve and not to be served. He came to lay down His life for the people of God. He told His disciples that no servant is greater than His Master. He washed His disciple’s feet and He commanded them to do the same.)

3  giving diligence to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (It takes conscientious diligence to keep the unity of the Spirit. It is something to be guarded and defended against the spirits of faction and division that are continually trying to separate brethren from one another and from the Body of Christ. There are no “Lone Rangers” in the Body of Christ. No man or woman lives to himself or dies to himself. Our words, actions and choices (or lack thereof) affect others in the Body around us. The only way to stay unified in the Body of Christ and to have the bond of peace is to stay in His Word daily, renewing our minds and our spirit man. Jesus IS the Word of God and we can’t remain in Him if we don’t remain in His Word.)

4  There is one body, and one Spirit, even as also ye were called in one hope of your calling; (If you are not united together with the mind of Christ in the Holy Spirit among the elect of God through obedience to His Word, which commands us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together in willful disobedience - Heb 10:25-26, then you will lose the “hope of your calling” and will be devoured by the wolves; the enemies of your soul.)

5  one Lord, one faith, one baptism, (There is only one Lord and one faith. If your life (meaning your thoughts, attitudes and actions) do not match or line up with the commandments that Jesus laid down in the New Testament then you are not part of the Body of Christ nor are you His disciples. You are serving another Jesus that allows people to live according to their flesh nature, being ruled by it instead of submitting to the Word and repenting. There are only 2 men in the earth Christ and anti-Christ. Jesus said, “My mother and brothers are them that hear my words and do them".)

6  one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all. (Those who are in God through submission to His Word, and those in whom God lives are His real body, the rest is fake religion.)

7  But unto each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ(Each one of us has initially been given a measure of the gift of Christ but we must not bury our gifts or talents in the earth of our fleshly desires or what we have will be taken from us and given to another and we will be reprobated. No one is irreplaceable. Paul said, “I buffet my body daily and bring it into submission lest I myself should be rejected,” or reprobated.)

8  Wherefore he saith, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, And gave gifts unto men. (Jesus overcame our captivity to the sinful nature and the curse and He has given us the authority to overcome our flesh nature to become Sons of God like Himself. We must take hold of this by faith to see the end of our salvation. If the devil can rob us of our faith then we will not mature and in many cases be saved, as Jesus said in the parable of the sower.)

9  (Now this, He ascended, what is it but that he also descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10  He that descended is the same also that ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) (Jesus overcame all so that we too could overcome all and be a part of His eternal body. The Lord ordained elders to bring this body together. The faction movement seeks, by their lord, satan, to destroy this body.)

11  And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers12  for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ: (The Lord has set elders and shepherds over His flock to grow us up and mature us so that ,we too, can be ministers to one another in order to build up and spiritually strengthen each member of the Body of Christ. We are not members of UBM just to sit back on our laurels, stay where we’re at in our walk and soak it all in, being spiritually lazy and slothful and letting the elders do all the work for us. We must fight the good fight of the faith for ourselves. No one will enter the Kingdom of Heaven on the leaderships coat tails. We can not wear our own apparel and be called by His Name. It doesn’t work that way.)

13  till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a full grown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: (This is the goal; becoming full grown in the image of Christ. The more Christ of the Word we have in us and the less of our flesh nature, the more we will be unified with the same mind of Christ.)

14  that we may be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error; (If we are spiritually lazy not to stay in the Word and renew our minds so that we are continually having the mind and thoughts of Christ, then we will constantly be tossed about by wicked men and their false doctrines. We will be unstable in our mind, will, and emotions. We will be spiritually stunted and perpetual children, always needy and always spiritual takers and never spiritual givers; unable to be any benefit to the rest of our brethren in the Body. The immature can’t even give milk!)

15  but speaking truth in love, may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, even Christ; (The only way to grow up in Christ is to love the truth of the Word and submit to it at all costs. We must agree with what the Word commands us and stop defending our flesh man by denying the Word of God which is the only truth. If when you read the Word and you come across something in it that doesn’t line up with your way of thinking you must repent and change your way of thinking. This is the only way to be united with the Head.)

16  from whom all the body fitly framed and knit together through that which every joint supplieth, according to the working in due measure of each several partmaketh the increase of the body unto the building up of itself in love. (The Body is connected and joined together in His love; each member using the gifts given them by the Lord and working together to increase the Body in strength and unity until it looks like the Body of Christ, a giant in the earth.  Love seeketh not it’s own (meaning it’s not selfish or self serving and constantly mindful of itself and it’s own needs and lusts or trials.)

Obey and Love, or Be Separated (2)

David Eells - 7/21/21 (David’s notes in red)

I thought we would continue our study on Ephesians Chapter 4 which is all about the love and unity that God desires of His people. These things are a requirement for the Body of Christ to become unified and to be a member of His Bride. Jesus said in Joh 14:15  If ye love me, ye will keep my commandments. To those who love Jesus enough to obey His Word everything works for their good. Rom 8:28  And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose.

So continuing on with verse 17 of Ephesians chapter 4 we see this theme:

17  This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye no longer walk as the Gentiles also walk, in the vanity of their mind, (We must cast down vain imaginations and every worldly thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and what His Word commands us. Rom 12:2  And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.)

18  being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their heart(He is describing “Gentiles” as opposed to the people of God here. The Gentiles, Greek: ethos, nations, is used as the unsaved people because they were ignorant of the provision of God. If we are walking in the vanity of our own minds then we are separated from God and the Body of Christ because our minds are darkened and ignorant of God’s benefits because we have hardened our hearts and our conscience has become seared. We are in danger of losing our salvation or at least never completely manifesting it.)

19  who being past feeling gave themselves up to lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. (Lasciviousness is giving ourselves a license to do what our flesh wants, which leads to reprobation. Many false Church doctrines promote this freedom to live after the flesh. Rom 8:13  for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.)

20  But ye did not so learn Christ 21  if so be that ye heard him, and were taught in him, even as truth is in Jesus(The Word of God is the only truth which is crucifying to the flesh. Our flesh man and the devil are liars. We must repent and believe the whole Word of God. Rom 3:4  God forbid: yea, let God be found true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy words, And mightest prevail when thou comest into judgment. If we add or subtract from God’s Word we will be judged as the last four verses of the Bible say. Also Psa 119:160  The sum of thy word is truth...

22  that ye put away, as concerning your former manner of life, the old man, that waxeth corrupt after the lusts of deceit; (We must stay in His Word continually in order to have the discernment we need to recognize fleshly thinking and anti-Christ spirits so we can resist them.)

23  and that ye be renewed in the spirit of your mind24  and put on the new man, that after God, hath been created in righteousness and holiness of truth(Our spirit man must be fed with the Word of God. It is our spiritual food. If we constantly feed our flesh man and starve our spiritual man we will not bear enough of the fruit of Christ to make it into the Kingdom as the parable of the sower shows. Our spiritual man will be starved to death and become twice dead and plucked up by the roots. We will lose our eternal life in Christ Jesus and end up in hell for eternity.)

25  Wherefore, putting away falsehood, speak ye truth each one with his neighbor: for we are members one of another. (The Word comes against our old life handed down through the blood lines. Jer. 48:10, Cursed be he that doeth the work of Jehovah negligently; and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from bloodIf we see our brother in sin we are commanded to correct them in love. Mat. 18:15-17, And if thy brother sin "against thee” (which is not in the original manuscripts and we are not to have personal offence), go, show him his fault between thee and him alone: if he hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. 16 But if he hear thee not, take with thee one or two more, that at the mouth of two witnesses or three every word may be established. (There must be 2 or 3 witnesses of sin. The factious NEVER obey this. A self willed opinion is enough for them. They skip these commands and go straight to the Church because of a spirit of anarchy.)  17 And if he refuse to hear them, tell it unto the church: and if he refuse to hear the church also, let him be unto thee as the Gentile and the publican. Many people, because of fear of man and fear of rejection, will not bring a loving correction or admonition to their brethren. This is not love, it is hatred. This is not a job for novices either.)

26  Be ye angry, and sin not (?): let not the sun go down upon your wrath: (This was a question.  It is a sin to be personally angry for any reason. In verse 31 we are told to put all anger away from us. Ecc 7:9  Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry; for anger resteth in the bosom of foolsAnger is judgment for which one is judged. We shouldn’t harbor anger in our hearts and thoughts toward anyone. We should go immediately and confess our anger or offense toward others and ask forgiveness from God. Only God can legally judge and be angry and He can express it through those walking in the Spirit. Mar 3:5  And when he [Jesus] had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their heart

27  neither give place to the devil. (Giving up anger and judgment is the best way to prevent the tormenting demon spirits from judging us and potentially causing us to fall away and be separated from the rest of the Body. Mat 18:34-35  And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due.  35  So shall also my heavenly Father do unto you, if ye forgive not every one his brother from your hearts.)

28  Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have whereof to give to him that hath need. (Anarchists like the factions in Church and State are thieves and most of them given a chance will steal, proving they are not members of the Body.

1Co 6:10  nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

29  Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for edifying as the need may be, that it may give grace to them that hear. (All speech should be edifying and giving grace even if its correction. It should be done in love seasoned with salt. In other words, what we speak should always have its foundation and motivations in the Word of God. 1Pe 4:11  if any man speaketh, speaking as it were oracles of God; if any man ministereth, ministering as of the strength which God supplieth: that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, whose is the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. AmenWe must always be "swift to hear and slow to speak” so we can check the motivations of our heart in our thoughts before we speak.)

30  And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, in whom ye were sealed unto the day of redemption. (It grieves the Holy Spirit of God when we allow corrupted speech to be spoken out of our mouths. We should only speak as oracles of God.)

31  Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and railing, be put away from you, with all malice(Jas. 1:20 for a man’s anger does not bring about the righteousness of God. Railing is speaking against others. For factious people this is their only “ministry” but they live under judgment for this.)

32  and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, even as God also in Christ forgave you. (Forgiveness is two fold. It is personal and it is governmental. Personally we must always forgive or we will not be forgiven. But those who govern the Church cannot forgive for God those who continue in sin or the body will be defiled. Paul did not forgive the man who had his fathers wife in 1 Co.5, he turned him over to the devil for chastening until he repented in 2Co. This is governmental forgiveness which is given on the condition of repentance. Luk 17:3  Take heed to yourselves: if thy brother sin, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.  Jesus told his apostles in Joh 20:23  whose soever sins ye forgive, they are forgiven unto them; whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.)

There is no salvation without forgiveness. Please read our book titled, “The Curse of Unforgiveness” linked here/books/pdf/TCOU.pdf

Since we know that there were no chapters back when Paul wrote these things, I will continue the text into Chapter 5 through verse 21:

Ephesians. 5:1-21 Be ytherefore (meaning the text continued) imitators of God, as beloved children; 2 and walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell. (As disciples, we must be imitators of God and our Savior, Jesus, who laid down His life for His brethren. We, too, must lay down our selfish nature always being mindful of the spiritual and physical needs of others.)

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as becometh saints; (Fornication is a broad term covering sexual immorality and uncleanness in thoughts and actions. It is also used in a symbolical way; forsaking God and His ways and loving the World instead of Him or following after idols of religion or things. The harlot in Revelation is so called because she received the seed of the world and religion instead of God. Covetousness is a strong desire for the worldly things or what belongs to others. It can even include jealousy of other’s situations and comparing yourself and your life to theirs and what they possess physically or spiritually.)

4 nor filthiness (Impure actions of an unclean spirit), nor foolish talking, or jesting, which are not befitting: but rather giving of thanks. (Foolish talking has the meaning of “shameless impropriety”; impropriety meaning, an improper or unacceptable usage of speech. Foolish jesting is defined as “quick witted” and its root meaning is “something easily turned.”  This jesting is words given in sport or play which are not edifying and can be offensive if someone takes them literally.)

5 For this ye know of a surety, that no fornicator, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolaterhath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. (Covetous in Greek means desiring more. This is Idolatry, which is holding anything in higher esteem (or as more important) than God and His Word; including ourselves with our own plans and agendas. Our lives are not our own. As we see here, Christians who habitually fall back into serving their idols will eventually be reprobated and will not enter the kingdom of Heaven. This should make us fear the Lord and desire His will only.)

Let no man deceive you with empty (vain) words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them; (Many times people, who are men-pleasers, will flatter others with vain and empty words and deceive them into a false sense of security in their fornications and covetous idolatry, which will lead them away from the truth of the Word. This causes the judgment of God to fall upon them. If we listen to them we will become partakers of the curse that they are under.)

8 For ye were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord: walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth), 10 proving what is well-pleasing unto the Lord; (Children of the light are the offspring of the truth, which is Jesus. Those who are righteous do righteousness.)

11 and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them12 for the things which are done by them in secret it is a shame even to speak of. (Fellowship is giving and receiving.  We should never receive from those in darkness or we become leavened and do not come into the image of Christ. They do their works in darkness because they know it is sin. If we see our brother in sin we are commanded to correct them in love.)

13 But all things when they are reproved are made manifest by the light: for everything that is made manifest is light. (Many times a reproof will cause the evil to manifest in a person. Demons hate it when you shine the light of the Word on them and confront their evil. They will scatter like roaches and/or they will slander you to justify themselves like the factions do.)

14 Wherefore he saith, Awake, thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall shine upon thee(We should be walking out our baptism in the process of coming out of death and into the resurrection life of Christ so that His glory shines out of us.)

15 Look therefore carefully how ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise; 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (This has never been more true than it is in these days. God is cleaning up His Bride and He is requiring us to closely examine our lives and our walk and the intentions of our hearts. We are running out of time to be in the high callings of God. It is very important right now to be as brutally honest with ourselves and repent of whatever is not of the nature and character of Christ. And God knows the thoughts and intents of our hearts beyond even our own understanding and He will be faithful to reveal any evil present if we love the truth enough to seek Him earnestly and face it head on. We must not allow our old man to defend his demons any longer.)

17 Wherefore be ye not foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is(This understanding of the Lord’s will comes solely from renewing our minds with the Word of God, which is of utmost importance now. Joh 7:17  If any man willeth to do his will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from myself.)

18 And be not drunken with wine, wherein is riot, but be filled with the Spirit; (We must always be of a sober mind exercising self-control which is a fruit of the Spirit.)

19 speaking one to another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; 20 giving thanks always for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father; (Thanking and worshipping God for all things says to Him that we trust in His ability and provision and not our own. Believing in His provision is helped by thinking on the positive promises and not continually on the bad report. Php 4:8  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things..

21 subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ. (Every Christian has a gift that is superior to ours in some way and we should submit to that gift of Christ that is in them. Also considering others as better than yourself and being humble to receive corrections and admonitions from our brethren is helpful. Pro 8:13  The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil: Pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, And the perverse mouth, do I hate. 1Pe 5:5  Likewise, ye younger, be subject unto the elder. Yea, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to serve one another: for God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.)

Here is a really good revelation about resisting the temptations of our old man to get us off of the straight and narrow path:

The Test is to Stay on the Narrow Path

Marianna Payne - 7/16/21 (David’s notes in red)

I dreamed, my husband Isaac and I were just standing together, when we both heard the voice of God saying "Come," in an authoritative but gentle manner. (John 6:44, No man can come to me, except the Father that sent me draw him: and I will raise him up in the last day.)

I didn't know where we were going or the way to get there, but we just knew to "Go." Isaac and I didnt pack any clothes, food or anything, we just packed up our children and left in a small, older looking, blue 4 door car. (This is not our car in real life) (This blue car represents the heavenly life that God has called His elect to. We are to be seated with Christ in heavenly places.)

Isaac started to drive and he just knew the way(As we study the Word of God who is Jesus, the Word made flesh, we learn the Way because Jesus said He was the Way. John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.)

We were driving on a gravel road with no lane markings, no street lights nor mile markers or signs whatsoever(This straight and narrow, wilderness road is the harder road to travel. It is unappealing for the flesh and there are no visible indicators on it because it is traveled by faith. 2 Co. 5:7 for we walk by faith, not by sight.)

While we were driving along, it started to rain softly. (This represents the judgments of the water of the Word of God from heaven that judges this world.)

Many other vehicles were traveling on this road too, all headed in the same direction. (As we will see later in this dream, many start out with us in this test but not all will finish with us.)

Up the road, was an old looking man, in plain clothing, standing by the side. He was signaling for the commuters to divert onto a road that split off to the left side(Our old man or flesh nature is constantly trying to divert us or distract us and get us off of the narrow road that Father has called us to travel. This detour is left like the goats in Jesus’ parable. The flesh wants to get us off the narrow road of death to self and the crucified life. Pro. 4:25-27 Let thine eyes look right on, And let thine eyelids look straight before thee. 26 Make level the path of thy feet, And let all thy ways be established. 27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: Remove thy foot from evil.)

We didnt see a reason why he was redirecting traffic in that direction. (We don’t always see the plans of the enemy clearly but if we are committed to obeying the Way then we won’t be deceived. Pro. 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he will direct thy paths.)

The road on the left was a one lane, normal looking, street. (The ways of the worldly minded look normal to man’s reasoning but they are a one way road to spiritual death and are foolishness with God)

When we came to drive past the man, Isaac manually rolled down his window. The man told Isaac to veer left but Isaac said, “That's not where we're going”. The man was visibly upset but we just drove on past him and continued on the road that we were on. (Our flesh nature hates it when it doesn’t get it’s way and the other way is his death. Gal. 5:17  For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would.)

Many of the other vehicles behind us veered off the road we were on and turned left. But a few stayed on; trailing behind us. (Many are called or invited but few are chosen.)

We were still driving but now it was raining much harder(This means as we overcome temptations to get off the narrow road, the worldly are departing more and more from it, which brings more judgment on the world.)

I felt like we should have been using the windshield wipers, but somehow we could still see through the rain(The fog of deception cannot hinder those who know the truth.) Up ahead there was another hold up. The same old man as before was again signaling for travelers to get off the road. But this time he was directing everyone towards a new, 3 lane, smoothly paved, freshly painted, bypass road, branching off to the right(If the enemy can’t detour us with one tactic, he will try something nicer and easier in order to lure us into thinking it is the ‘right’ way.)

We came up to drive past him once again and he motioned for us to roll down our window. Drenched from standing in the pouring rain, he said we had to take this new road! (Because the old man lives under the curse of sin and death he hates the crucified life way.) Isaac said, “No" once again. The old man was very upset and yelled, "It'll be your funeral!" but we did not veer off the road. (Many worldly minded people persecute true believers because our ways seem foolish to their reasoning. And, it is our funeral because we want to die to self so that the life of Christ may dwell in us.)

We stayed on the country road, but the other few who were traveling the country road behind us, diverted onto the wider, easier road to the right(Many will not endure until the end to see their salvation. Heb 3:14 for we are become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end.)

We drove on and it was raining so much that the gravel road was beginning to be washed away. The rain water was getting higher and higher and soon the vehicle would be swept away or stuck in the ditch(This is what we tend to believe when we get our eyes on the contrary waves of life and off of Jesus like Peter did. He was sinking under the curse of death until Jesus lifted him above it and put him in His ark.)

Isaac and I just looked at each other and started to pray in tongues. Then I had a vision in the dream. I could see through the bottom of the vehicle as if the floor boards were invisible. I could see the water under us and the tires floating or hovering, suspendedabove the water(These are the waters of Noah which those in the ark of Jesus escaped. Gen 7:17  And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lifted up above the earth.)  The tires were still turning and then the vision ended. I think Isaac saw the vision too. Because after I saw it, he looked at me and gave a small head nod. (Faith and intercession causes us to walk above the curses of this life. Today, the curse is getting deeper and spreading faster than ever before. But we can be overcomers by faith in the promises of God.)

He pressed on the gas petal and the wheels continued to go forward. The road had turned into a small river or creek with a flow of water coming from the direction we were headed. But we were still able to drive above it! (Our way is against the stream of the worldly life and above the curse on this world.)

Following the path, floating above the water, I looked out the window and recognized that we were in the woods behind David Eells' house. Driving and floating up the mountain(We are living above the curse and going against the flow of the world and it’s ways in order to ascend to the top of Mount Zion and the house of the David Man-childs.) Then I woke up.

I asked the Lord for a word by faith at random concerning this dream and the Father gave me, Luke 9:23-24  If any would come after me, let him deny himself, taking up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life shall lose it, but whoever shall lose his life for my sake, the same shall he save it.

1 Co. 2:10-16, But unto us God revealed them through the Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For who among men knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of the man, which is in him? even so the things of God none knoweth, save the Spirit of God. 12 But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Spirit teacheth; combining spiritual things with spiritual words. 14 Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, and he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
