Unleavened Bread Ministries with David Eells

Overcoming the Seducing Harlot

William Steenland - 01/26/2014
(David's notes in red)

I dreamed I was in a room, sitting on a bed with all of the Local UBM members in the room (UBM abiding in the rest). There were two beds in the dream. Myself and a bunch of other people were sitting on this bed (rest). I was watching a television. {Pro.29:18} Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. I was watching with a bunch of Mastercraft boats in the water (Mastercraft is a play on words. The master, Jesus' works: {Php.2:13} For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Boats represent the spiritual abode of Christ in John 15 and the Ark of safety before the judgment.) (Bill's job in the natural is to build these boats. Through the Lord's work, His people can build an ark for themselves and their families to live above the waters of the curse, represented by the flood. {Heb.11:7} By faith Noah, being warned of God concerning things not seen as yet, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; through which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. Putting the Word of God, Jesus, into your household is building an ark to save them.)

The boats were speeding on the surface of the ocean (sea of human wickedness, overcoming the beast nature) but they had the shipping covers still on that I put on them at work. (Representing the blood covering [and a life hidden in Christ from the world].) {Joh.6:28} Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? {29} Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. No one gets grace to do the works of God without believing what Jesus said.) They were speeding very fast and there were about four or five of them (4 representing trials and 5 grace).

I turned and saw brother David and a couple of other people all sitting on the second bed. (Possibly the two beds are corporate ministries of the Bride and Man-child?) I asked, "Hey, what are you guys watching?" David said, "We are watching Daniel 17. (I believe 17 in this case represents the victory of the Man-child over the "Beast" through faith, calling the things which are not as though they were and not walking by natural sight but the spiritual vision and spiritual sight that Jesus gives His disciples, the elect. {Mat.13:16} But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.) Then I turned back and the video was over. (David didn't use the word "chapter" and there is no chapter 17 in the book of Daniel but there are many significant verse 17s there.) (The first mention of 17 in the Word is when Joseph was that age and was persecuted and hated by his brethren but then became their head, judge and provider. 17 represents preservation and victory when going through evil circumstances. Daniel records many 17 moments. Learning, wisdom, visions and dreams preserve one in {Dan.1:17} As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. Corporate prayer was called for to preserve from the Beast destruction in {2:17} Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions: {18} that they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his companions should nor perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. The three Hebrews had their 17 moments, too, like preservation in the fiery furnace in {3:17} If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. Knowledge of the sovereignty of God preserves many in {4:17} This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men. Faith to be preserved in the lions' den in {6:17} And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel. Daniel received visions to preserve us from the Beasts in the end times. {8:17} So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision. Prayer for grace to preserve saves in {9:17} Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake. Weakness in our fleshly ability preserves because God's power is made perfect in our weakness: {10:17} For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. {18} Then there touched me again one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me. Knowledge that the Beast and those who abide in his body only corrupts, preserves us in {11:17} He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.)

Then there was a woman (the Harlot) next to me, sitting on the bed. She was trying to get off the bed. (Representing the Harlot among us being revealed by turning from faith in the Word that brings rest.) She had to get around me first and she tried to pull me off the bed. (Bill is a determined disciple of the Lord. He is being used here to show the temptations we all go through and have to overcome. The Harlot is not just somebody else's religion; it's all apostate religion. It is a frame of mind that through fleshly temptation a person turns from the seed of the Word and their husband, Jesus, to receive the seed/words/lusts of Satan in their own thoughts. Those who fall to the Harlot always try to drag others with them, for demon spirits drive them to seek company to "glory in their flesh". The Harlot Jezebel is rebellion and selfish ambition that seeks authority over others, even though it is not given to them of the Lord.)

The dream ended with me half on and half off the bed, about to get back on as she got up and walked away. (The Harlot represents those who turn away from faith and obedience to the Word and its rest to their lusts. She tries but fails to get the chosen off the bed of rest. Those who escape the strange woman or Harlot through respect for the Word are blessed in Proverbs chapters 2, 5, 6 and 7. These parables use a natural harlot as a type of the spiritual harlot that tempts God's people with her lusts. {Pro.2:1} My son, if thou wilt receive my words, And lay up my commandments with thee ... {7} He layeth up sound wisdom for the upright; [He is] a shield to them that walk in integrity; {8} That he may guard the paths of justice, And preserve the way of his saints. {9} Then shalt thou understand righteousness and justice, And equity, [yea], every good path. {10} For wisdom shall enter into thy heart, And knowledge shall be pleasant unto thy soul; {11} Discretion shall watch over thee; Understanding shall keep thee: {12} To deliver thee from the way of evil, From the men that speak perverse things; {13} Who forsake the paths of uprightness, To walk in the ways of darkness; {14} Who rejoice to do evil, And delight in the perverseness of evil; {15} Who are crooked in their ways, And wayward in their paths: {16} To deliver thee from the strange woman, Even from the foreigner that flattereth with her words; {17} That forsaketh the friend of her youth, And forgetteth the covenant of her God: {18} For her house inclineth unto death, And her paths unto the dead; {19} None that go unto her return again, Neither do they attain unto the paths of life: {20} That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, And keep the paths of the righteous. {21} For the upright shall dwell in the land, And the perfect shall remain in it. They will not get dragged off the bed of the Land of Rest. {22} But the wicked shall be cut off from the land, And the treacherous shall be rooted out of it. This is happening now. It is the test that separates the goats from the sheep, the tares from the wheat.)

{5:1} My son, attend unto my wisdom; Incline thine ear to my understanding: {2} That thou mayest preserve discretion, And that thy lips may keep knowledge. {3} For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, And her mouth is smoother than oil: Sharp as a two-edged sword. {5} Her feet go down to death; Her steps take hold on Sheol; {6} So that she findeth not the level path of life: Her ways are unstable, [and] she knoweth [it] not. {7} Now therefore, [my] sons, hearken unto me, And depart not from the words of my mouth. {8} Remove thy way far from her, And come not nigh the door of her house; {9} Lest thou give thine honor unto others, And thy years unto the cruel; {10} Lest strangers be filled with thy strength, And thy labors [be] in the house of an alien, When thy flesh and thy body are consumed, {12} And say, How have I hated instruction, And my heart despised reproof; {13} Neither have I obeyed the voice of my teachers, Nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me! {14} I was well-nigh in all evil In the midst of the assembly and congregation.

{6:23} For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; And reproofs of instruction are the way of life: {24} To keep thee from the evil woman, From the flattery of the foreigner's tongue. {25} Lust not after her beauty in thy heart; Neither let her take thee with her eyelids. {26} For on account of a harlot [a man is brought] to a piece of bread. Notice when a person turns from the commandments of the Word to follow their lusts, they are members of the Harlot.

{7:1} My son, keep my words, And lay up my commandments with thee. {2} Keep my commandments and live; And my law as the apple of thine eye. {3} Bind them upon thy fingers; Write them upon the tablet of thy heart. {4} Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; And call understanding [thy] kinswoman: {5} That they may keep thee from the strange woman, From the foreigner that flattereth with her words. {6} For at the window of my house I looked forth through my lattice; {7} And I beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, A young man void of understanding, {8} Passing through the street near her corner; And he went the way to her house, {9} In the twilight, in the evening of the day, In the middle of the night and in the darkness. {10} And, behold, there met him a woman With the attire of a harlot, and wily of heart. These harlot spirits seduce with the lusts of the flesh. {11} She is clamorous and wilful; Her feet abide not in her house (meaning, not in the house of the husband, Jesus, the Word): {12} Now she is in the streets, now in the broad places (the broad road that leads to death), And lieth in wait at every corner. {13} So she caught him, and kissed him, [And] with an impudent face she said unto him: {14} Sacrifices of peace-offerings are with me; This day have I paid my vows. {15} Therefore came I forth to meet thee, Diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee. {16} I have spread my couch with carpets of tapestry, With striped cloths of the yarn of Egypt. {17} I have perfumed my bed With myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. {18} Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning; Let us solace ourselves with loves. {19} For the man is not at home; He is gone a long journey (Jesus gave talents and went on a long journey): {20} He hath taken a bag of money with him; He will come home at the full moon (We will see Him in the Man-child first when the woman is standing on the full moon in Revelation 12.) {21} With her much fair speech she causeth him to yield; With the flattering of her lips she forceth him along. {22} He goeth after her straightway, As an ox goeth to the slaughter, Or as [one in] fetters to the correction of the fool; {23} Till an arrow strike through his liver; As a bird hasteth to the snare, And knoweth not that it is for his life. {24} Now therefore, [my] sons, hearken unto me, And attend to the words of my mouth. {25} Let not thy heart decline to her ways; Go not astray in her paths. {26} For she hath cast down many wounded (More wounded than many know who only understand the letter here): Yea, all her slain are a mighty host. {27} Her house is the way to Sheol, Going down to the chambers of death.

(I'm praying for obedience and discernment over the plans of the enemy. I'm wanting to get this right and fully rest in faith and obedience to the Word.)
