The Sting of Death

Cate from Alaska

I was standing on a small remote hill; the wind was blowing, the long grass under my feet movingin the wind. A man in uniform came up the hill and pulled out a sword. I knew he was going to run me through with it and I cried out to God, "Lord, this is going to hurt", but before I got the words out the sword was half way through and I was surprised that it didn't hurt at all and I died. And the dream ended.

(Note from David: This is to you who are called to be martyrs. The sting of death, which is sin,can be overcome through faith that it has been overcome by our Lord. {1Co.15:53} For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. {54} But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. {55} O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? {56} The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law: {57} but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.)
