Walking in the Light Brings Power

Belinda Anderson - 05/23/2014
(David's notes in red)

I dreamed I was in a special place of Heaven with Jesus and we were walking along on a path of some sort. I really couldn't see anything around me because the glory of the Lord was everywhere. {Eze.43:5} And the Spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of The Lord filled the house. As we were walking along, Jesus was speaking to me and explaining things to me. {Jer.33:3} Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and will show thee great things, and difficult, which thou knowest not. {Eph.2:5} even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have ye been saved), {6} and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly [places], in Christ Jesus: {7} that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus: {8} for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, [it is] the gift of God; {9} not of works, that no man should glory.

Suddenly, we stopped walking and in front of us a window opened up and Jesus said to me that He wanted to show me an illustration. I saw a large church building and it was full of people. I saw the pastor of this church standing at a podium up in front of the congregation and he was giving his "usual" weekly sermon. {Joh.5:39} Ye search the scriptures, because ye think that in them ye have eternal life; and these are they which bear witness of me; {40) and ye will not come to me, that ye may have life. {41} I receive not glory from men.

All of a sudden, I saw a man come running down the main isle, shouting, "Quick! Everybody down in the basement now! There's a big tornado coming and it's nearly upon us". (The tornado symbolizes soon coming tribulations.) {Mat.13:19} When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the evil one, and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side. {20} And he that was sown upon the rocky places, this is he that heareth the word, and straightway with joy receiveth it; {21} yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while; and when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, straightway he stumbleth.

So I watched as everyone got up and ran down into the basement of this church where no light can shine forth. (A place of spiritual darkness and of unbelief. We need to abide in the real Church, meaning the called-out ones; brick and mortar won't save us from tribulation.) {Jer.16:17} For mine eyes are upon all their ways; they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity concealed from mine eyes. {23:24} Can any hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him? (and it is the Lord Who brings judgment) saith The Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith The Lord.

I heard some parents saying to their small children, "It's okay; we are in the house of God and we will be protected here". (Trusting in things seen with the natural eye.) I heard a man say, "We'll be fine! We built the best storm shelter money can buy and it will withstand anything Mother Nature can throw at it". (But can one withstand Father God by the works of his flesh?) {17:5} Thus saith The Lord: Cursed is the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from The Lord. {11:3} and say thou unto them, Thus saith The Lord the God of Israel: Cursed be the man that heareth not the words of this covenant, {4} which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God; {5} that I may establish the oath which I sware unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as at this day. Then answered I, and said, Amen, O Jehovah. {6} And The Lord said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them. {Psa.118:8} It is better to take refuge in The Lord Than to put confidence in man.

I heard a few others shouting, "Save us, Jesus! Save us, Jesus!" This particular group of people were interesting to me because they were crying out for Jesus to save them as they were standing in their "man-made" storm shelter. This appeared to me to be double-minded. (The Lord through James said, "Faith without works is dead". "I will show you my faith by my works".) {Jas.1:6} But let him ask in faith, nothing doubting: for he that doubteth is like the surge of the sea driven by the wind and tossed. (7) For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord; (8) a doubleminded man, unstable in all his ways. I believe the Lord was showing me that double-mindedness is going to be a "snare" for His people during the Tribulation. {Mat.17:20} And he saith unto them, Because of your little faith: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. {Mar.11:24} Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Just then, I saw the enormous tornado hit the church (a big trial, a spiritual tornado). But instead of the roof and walls and everything flying off into the air, all the debris imploded. (Losing the battle from within; false doctrine has NO POWER to save!) And it all fell into the basement (a place of unbelief) and everyone perished (spiritual death). {Hos.4:6} My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I also will forget thy children.

As I was standing there with Jesus, considering what I had just witnessed, Jesus said to me, "Belinda, what did you see?" I looked up at Jesus and I said, "Well, Lord, it's not what I saw, it's what I didn't see". Jesus looked at me with a big smile and said, "Well done!" Then Jesus asked, "What didn't you see?" {1Co.2:14} Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged. {15} But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, and he himself is judged of no man. {16} For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. {Psa.119:18} Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold Wondrous things out of thy law.

I said to Jesus, "I didn't see any real faith. I didn't see anybody speaking to the mountain". {Mar.11:23} Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it. "I didn't see anyone calling the things that be not as though they were. I didn't see any power. They had their eyes on the problem instead of the promise! I didn't see any true believers". {Joh.1:12} But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name: {Luk.18:8} I say unto you, that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? Jesus said, "My people see temporal things as though they are. There is no power in temporal things. You must free your mind of temporal things". I nodded my head in agreement with Jesus and we resumed walking along on the path. {2Co.4:18} while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (It is the Word of the promises that one does not see while their eyes are on the problem.)

Again we stopped and Jesus showed me another vision. This time I saw my children and all the things they were doing in the world. (Don't see this. See what you have prayed for.) Jesus said to me, "Belinda, what do you see?" I looked up at Jesus and very happily I said, "I see restoration, Jesus". Jesus said to me, "How so, Belinda?" I said, "Because these things are temporal, Lord". (The natural things we see with our "natural" eyes are passing away. I said, "I see the end from the beginning and I call the things that be not as though they were, Lord. And Jesus, most of all, Lord, I believe what I have prayed for". {Rom.4:16} For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace; to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all {17} (as it is written, A father of many nations have I made thee) before him whom he believed, even God, who giveth life to the dead, and calleth the things that are not, as though they were. {Mar.11:24} Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

With my spiritual eyes I see my children standing in the Kingdom of God, which is eternal things. I believe this is what Jesus was showing and explaining to me. We are not to bind ourselves to the things of this world. {Joh.18:36} Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. Jesus was showing me that our kingdom is not of this world either and our thoughts and actions must reflect this. Jesus was teaching me to be mindful of my thoughts, that they be not temporal as well. {Col.2:8} Take heed lest there shall be any one that maketh spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ: (Pay attention to what Jesus said and not men.)

We began to walk again and as we were walking, I asked Jesus a question. I said, "Jesus, what is Heaven like?" Jesus smiled at me and said in a loving voice, "Completeness". I said, "Completeness?" He said, "Yes. Complete love". I said, "Wow! I can't wait to see what complete love looks like, Jesus". He smiled at me and laughed a knowing laugh and said, "You will, My daughter. You will". {1Co.2:9} but as it is written, Things which eye saw not, and ear heard not, And which entered not into the heart of man, Whatsoever things God prepared for them that love him. {Jas.1:12} Blessed is the man that endureth temptation; for when he hath been approved, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to them that love him. (We are tempted by what we see, feel and hear to not believe the promises which cause us to live in another Kingdom as sons of God.)

Second Dream: Faith Brings Forth Provision From God

{Act.1:8} But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

I dreamed it was early in the morning and I was standing outside in my front yard, when I saw a group of people coming down the lane. As they approached me, they told me they had been walking for days and they were hungry and thirsty, and asked if I had some food and water I could spare. I said, "Sure. Come on into the house with me". {Mat.5:42} Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

So I led them into the house and directed them over to the dining room table and told them to have a seat while I got them some water. As they were headed for the table, I watched a man open up the pantry door and peek inside. I saw a look of disappointment cover his face as he went and sat down at the table. I heard him say to the others, "I don't know how she is going to feed us; there wasn't a stitch of food in that pantry!" (He only saw the things that are as though they are!) {6:19} Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal: (20) but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: (21) for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also.

As we need food and water (both physical and spiritual), we will do as Jesus did with the fishes and the loaves. {14:16} But Jesus said unto them, They have no need to go away; give ye them to eat. {17} And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes. {18} And he said, Bring them hither to me. {19} And he commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass; and he took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.

I smiled to myself and went over to the kitchen cupboard and got all the water glasses I needed, and took them over to the sink and began to fill them up. Just then, one of the women asked, "Do you have power?" I said, "I sure do!" (I knew she meant electricity to power the pump, but there was another power in this house.) {Act.1:8} But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. They all looked at me so surprised because they said they hadn't run across a house with power. I finished filling up the water glasses and took them over to the thirsty people. {Mat.10:42} And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only, in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you he shall in no wise lose his reward.

As they were drinking their water, I went back into the kitchen and I began to pray, "Father, I need to feed these hungry people. I need a dozen eggs, a gallon of milk and three loaves of bread". I just named off all the things I needed to feed these people. When I finished my prayer and thanked the Father in Jesus' name, I looked down on the counter and everything I prayed for was there. {Php.4:19} And my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. {2Co.9:8} And God is able to make all grace abound unto you; that ye, having always all sufficiency in everything, may abound unto every good work: {9} as it is written, He hath scattered abroad, he hath given to the poor; His righteousness abideth for ever.

I looked back at the group sitting at the dining room table and they all were just staring at me in wonder. I don't think they had ever seen a miracle from God before. The little child in the group came over to me and said, "Wow, where did all that food come from?" I looked back at the adults and they were looking up toward Heaven and then back at me. I said to the child, "The Bible teaches in: {Mar.11:23} Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it. {24} Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. I said to the child, "You see, I believed and I received. Isn't that neat?!" And the child said, "It sure is!" I could see that this small child believed, unlike the adults. {Mat.18:2} And he called to him a little child, and set him in the midst of them, (3) and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven. {4} Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

I then focused my attention on preparing the food. And as I was preparing the food, I began to sing praise and worship songs to the Lord. After a while, I began to hear the group of people at the dining room table begin to sing along with me. As I looked back at the group sitting at the table, I could see hope in their eyes. {Rom.15:13} Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit. {14:17} for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
