Crash of Internet, Economy or Worse

Chris Garber - 05/04/2010
(Rory's notes in red)

I dreamed that I was in a giant spaceship. I don't remember exactly what it looked like, but it was huge. I remember that I felt lucky to be on the ship, even though it seemed as though everyone else on the ship was just "tolerating" me. I felt "lucky" to be on it, I thought. (It may represent the Internet cyberspace that you share a spot in AND the economy which also operates chiefly in cyberspace. There are many on the ship who only "tolerate" Christians and find them irritating because of their zeal for spiritual truth.)

The spaceship was flying all around and over the earth. It never was really high off the planet, but I remember that we went all over the world, very fast. I remember being able to pick out different continents and making out different landmarks. I don't, however, remember the ship ever "traveling" out into space very far, even to the moon or anything. (The internet cyberspace ship, which is also linked to orbiting satellites, as well as the ground, travels everywhere close to the earth very fast.)

The next scene I remember is that I realized that the spaceship was "crashing". I realized, as I looked out the window, that the spaceship was crashing into the United States -- as in the lower 48 states. ("Crash" is also a term used for the failure of the Internet and/or electrical grid.) I remember sitting in somewhat of a "pod" with windows all around my head. ("iPod" -- Apple-based portable media player.)

The spaceship kind of "crash" landed rather softly, without any sound, down, down down -- real slowly. (There was initially no physical damage to its users; hence, a soft landing.)

I could see that the ship was covering the whole 48 states. (Note from David: At least this could be hackers and viruses bringing down the Internet and economy all over the U.S. Far worse would be a solar flare from our upset sun or a high-burst nuke or two that could EMP the whole electrical grid, Internet and economy at one time. Multitudes would die from this within a year, especially those stuck in big cities without water, welfare, food or gasoline to leave.) From my vantage point, I was kind of in the part of the ship that crashed into the southern California area. (This may be the Internet crashing as a result of something hitting the Southern California area. Meteorite? EMP? Solar flare? Terror action? OR it could be the economic collapse of the economy triggered by an event in Southern California.)

I remember that all of the people, and I mean ALL of the people, were rushing around. They were hysterical, upset and not sure what to do. It was a scene of quiet chaos. (A crash that will happen silently as communication ceases, yet people will react hysterically. The masses will have no idea what to do.)

I remember that I was the only person not upset, worried or even concerned. (Because you abide in the Word, which is under the shadow and wings of the Almighty [Psalm 91].) I remember audibly saying some type of quick prayer and thanking the Lord in the name of Jesus for safety and provision.

In the next scene, I saw the "powers that be" looking for people to figure out what happened to the ship and why it crashed. There were people from the original "crew" of the ship, as well as the "general" public assembling to work together. (We can see both the government and private sector scrambling to analyze what happened.)

As this group was forming, the persons in charge (government officials) made an announcement. They informed the group, "There is no money and there will be no assistance from your government. (There it is: the failure of the dollar and the economy linked to the "crash". The government renouncing its responsibilities and commitments to the people. Good bye, Social Security, Medicare, etc.)

"You have plenty of time to assemble and work on the ship. (This is a false assurance by "the persons in charge" because much tribulation and death will come with at least the crash of the Internet and economy.) The United States government doesn't want the ship or anything on it". (Shutting down the Internet -- censorship -- along with the failure of the economy.)

Then I woke up.

I have prayed for interpretation. I have asked the Lord for Scripture. Nothing yet. I was drawn to 1 Kings 8:35-42, although I don't know why, as of yet.

(1Ki.8:35) When heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou dost afflict them: (36) then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, when thou teachest them the good way wherein they should walk; and send rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy people for an inheritance. (37) If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, if there be blasting or mildew, locust or caterpillar; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be;

(38) what prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, who shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house: (39) then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling-place, and forgive, and do, and render unto every man according to all his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;) (40) that they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers. (41) Moreover concerning the foreigner, that is not of thy people Israel, when he shall come out of a far country for thy name's sake (42) (for they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy mighty hand, and of thine outstretched arm); when he shall come and pray toward this house ...

Economy Deteriorating Fast
Amos Scaggs - 05/05/2010

A friend and myself were working on a car and the final step was checking the spark plugs and one plug had been removed. There was also a Harley setting there with its plugs removed. All of a sudden, there was a dark cloud approaching and it started to sprinkle rain. We knew there wasn't time to finish, so we decided to push the Harley inside and try to finish the work on the car before the approaching storm was upon us.

We decided to try to put the plug in the car while enduring the rain of the approaching storm but we knew there was not sufficient time.

The strange thing was that the spark plug was on the bottom of the engine next to the radiator drain plug, so we had to lie on the ground to change it and be very careful we didn't unscrew the wrong thing.

Other obstacles were in the way, like cars, trucks and trailers, so moving around freely was impossible.

Some interpretation: A car will run on seven cylinders but it will be a rough ride and will eventually take its toll on the engine; that's our economy today.

The powering components of the economy are upside down and only false confidence in what they can't see keeps people investing in it. It is not seen that this engine has lost power and cannot run long. One wrong move will pull the plug on the coolant that keeps the engine that drives the economy alive. There is no time to fix it anyway before the mighty storm hits and there are too many obstacles in the way.

Fixing the Harley inside would enable one to move about if the storm ever stopped. Also, it takes balance, which is not in the leadership, to ride a Harley.
