Fear to Fear

David Eells - 03/24/2013

Brethren, please listen and meditate on this carefully. It could save your life.

The Lord pointed out to me that some of you have fear in your life. I asked the Lord to give me a word about what to do about this and He gave me: {1Ch.14:9} Now the Philistines had come and made a raid in the valley of Rephaim. {10} And David inquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into my hand? And Jehovah said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thy hand. {11} So they came up to Baal-perazim, and David smote them there; and David said, God hath broken mine enemies by my hand, like the breach of waters. This seemed clear that Father had given me authority to fight against this enemy.

Fear is faith in the devil and in the curse. Jesus said, "As you have believed so shall it be unto you" and "Be it unto you according to your faith". We know that "as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he". The devil has a right to fulfill everything you believe him for. If you fear to obey God or have faith in His Word, you will die from your own thoughts and actions. Death won't be from disease, the sun, radiation, bad water, poison, being around faithful people; it will be from fear. Fear absorbs every curse and faith repels it, just as John G. Lake used to say. The plague could not touch him because he rejected fear and had a clean conscience.

What do you think will happen when these curses come and you still have a spirit of fear? Scorpizo is a class of demons whose name means "put to flight". Fear is number one in this class. {Pro.28:1} The wicked flee when no man pursueth; But the righteous are bold as a lion. The answer to my question is, you will run from everything you need to save you. You will even be afraid to hear faith from people who have it. You will run from the Bride because the righteous shall LIVE from faith. You will run from this land of refuge where radiation and earthquakes are coming. God's hornets will purge the leaven from the midst.

I went through a fire once as an industrial fireman. At Exxon a pipe still unit was burning down. There were five of us on a 4" hose. We were standing on a foam blanket that we layed out on the top of oil and gasoline. This was burning all around us as we tried to cool down some very large pipes that were overhead so they would not melt and dump more fuel into this burning pipe still unit. A safety team saw the blanket breaking down in the fire and the fire creeping back on us, so they swung their hose around and washed the foam blanket away and fire came all around us because now oxygen could get to the fuel and a major fire erupted. When they saw what they did, they turned their hose away. You can't spray water on someone to save them from a fire when it's on burning oil. Water just pushed oxygen into the oil and it turns into a much hotter and bigger flame. I saw the two fireman in front of me as their face shields melted and they dropped the hose and ran for their life. I stepped forward and took the nozzle.

Then the two firemen behind me took off running. I didn't wonder why they ran because the fire was burning underneath my fire coat and shield. But I had no fear because my conscience was clear and I had faith, all thanks to my God. I was amazed that though I was in this fire for 10-12 minutes longer than anyone else, I felt only a little warmth but no burning. The firemen were burned to various degrees -- one badly and I visited him in the hospital days later. I am a witness to God's power to save from things physical. {Isa.43:2} When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. God is willing to use His power to save from the curse in the physical realm.

When the pumpers on the fire engine saw the men leave me, they cut the pressure back so I could stand up with the hose because one man cannot hold a 4" hose with much pressure in it. It would knock you down and drag you through burning fuel. The pumper had the fire engine spraying on the pipes now so I decided to put the hose down and walk out but the nozzle was jammed and would not close with rocks in the line and I couldn't drop the line or it would take off behind me like a jet spraying burning fuel on me. After working with the nozzle for a few minutes, it turned off, so I set it down and slowly walked out with fire still under my coat. I walked past the pumper and other firemen who were all staring at me. I was guessing they were thinking, "Did I just see what I think I saw?"

My fearlessness was not from me and I knew it. I could not have survived this with a spirit of fear. Fear absorbs the curse. Faith annuls the laws of nature. It destroys the ability of any physical curse to harm you. {Luk.10:19} Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you.

If you are in willful disobedience, fear God. If not, fear nothing.

Please stop now and get help and get rid of this enemy of fear. It is leaven to the people around you. It is the enemy in the camp, yours and theirs. Deny it. Fight with it. Have brethren around you cast it out.
