Overcomers Put on Bridal Garments

A little while back, David taught on what was beautiful to the Lord. It brought to my remembrance a dream I had back in 2010, where the Lord was giving me understanding about what is pleasing and beautiful to Him. (This is criteria for the choosing of the Bride.)

I dreamed that an angel of the Lord took me to Heaven. We were going down a long hallway and at the end of the hallway I could see a door. I could barely see that something was written on the door, but I was still too far away to make it out. As we got closer, I could see that it had my name, "BELINDA", in big, bold letters on the door. The angel said, "Belinda, this is your room. Go ahead and open the door". I stood there for a few seconds while it registered in my brain that the angel said this was MY room. "WOW! I have a room!" I said. The angel said again, "Go ahead, Belinda. Open the door and go in".

So I opened the door and took a few steps inside the room. Directly in front of me I saw a row of drawers with handles. It reminded me of a post office where they have all the little cubbyholes for the mail, except these cubbies were drawers and had handles. I stood there looking at these drawers for a few minutes, as I wasn't sure what to do next. The angel of the Lord said, "Go ahead, Belinda, and open the drawers; they are your drawers to open". So I opened the first drawer and reached inside and pulled out a piece of paper that was rolled up. I unrolled the paper and up at the top of the paper it read, "Certificate of Completion". So I read down a little further and it saw, "Belinda has successfully overcome anger". And there was a stamp that read COMPLETED across the certificate, making it a formal document; it reminded me of a high school diploma. I thought to myself, WOW! I've overcome anger! How cool is that?! I was so excited by this that I turned around and showed it to the angel. He just laughed, as he was happy that I was so excited.

He said to me, "Belinda, there are more drawers. To ahead and open them all; they belong to you". So I proceeded to open the drawers and when I opened the last drawer and pulled out the rolled certificate, it read, "Incomplete. Needs more work". I very slowly read the certificate to see what it contained. It read, "Self Condemnation - incomplete, needs a little more work". I knew this was true. Even as a child, I had a way of punishing myself more than anyone; I took so much to heart and had so much guilt and suffered from lack of love and self-worth. The angel cheered me up; He said, "Look, it says you need "A LITTLE more work". He was so nice to me and instantly I felt better. I said, "Oh, thank you, Lord, for showing me what I have overcome and what I still need to work on".

After I finished opening all the drawers, I looked around the room and saw a treasure chest. It was beautiful and had all kinds of different jewels on the outside. I got down on my knees and ran my hands across the chest; I just wanted to touch those beautiful jewels. The angel had been standing behind me and I turned around to look up at him and he was smiling down at me. He said, "Belinda, that is YOUR treasure chest. Go ahead an open it". I was so overwhelmed. I just wrapped my arms around the chest for a few minutes. The angel seemed to understand and just stood patiently waiting. Finally, I carefully opened the lid and looked into the chest; it was full of beautiful garments. (Which represent righteous hearts and works of purity.) I reached in and pulled out the first garment; it read, "Anger has been overcome". I held it up to my body and as soon as I did, it conformed itself to my body and fit like a glove. The angel told me I looked so beautiful in that garment. He said to me, "Go ahead and try on the next one". So I did. As I tried on each of the garments, they all fit because they were made JUST FOR ME! How humbling this is! We really do have treasure in Heaven. (Notice that our treasure is for those who dwell in heavenly places in Christ and put on the life of Christ.) The Lord loves us so much!

God will dress in beautiful garments those who overcome sin by His grace. Isaiah 52:1 Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city (The Bride - Revelation 21:9,10): for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. No one unclean or uncircumcised or sowing flesh will be in the Bride.

Note from "JDF": Belinda = Be Linda ...Linda in Spanish means "beautiful", so "Be a beautiful bride" for Christ and have beautiful "garments".

Jude 1:23 and some save, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. The righteous hate to be displeasing to the Father.

Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh shall thus be arrayed in white garments; and I will in no wise blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Overcoming is white garments and eternal life.

3:4 But thou hast a few names in Sardis that did not defile their garments: and they shall walk with me in white; for they are worthy. Those whose works are pure and undefiled walk in white.

16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walked naked, and they see his shame. Like being in the wedding feast and not having a wedding garment on.

3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold refined by fire, that thou mayest become rich; and white garments, that thou mayest clothe thyself, and [that] the shame of thy nakedness be not made manifest; and eyesalve to anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see. Nakedness represents sin, as does dark spots on a white garment. We must give our old life to receive our new life.

Zechariah 3:3 Now Joshua (representing the body of Jesus) was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the angel. 4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take the filthy garments from off him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with rich apparel. God has accomplished our perfection through Christ and now we must take advantage of this by faith and repentance.

Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with a garland, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. The white garment is the garment of manifested salvation.

59:6 Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands. The wicked "Christians'" works of righteousness are not enough to cover their nakedness.

Ecc.9:8 Let thy garments be always white; and let not thy head lack oil.

Psalms 45:8 All thy garments [smell of] myrrh, and aloes, [and] cassia

Exodus 29:29 And the holy garments of Aaron [our High Priest, Jesus] shall be for his sons after him, to be anointed in them, and to be consecrated in them.

19:10 And Jehovah said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to-day and to-morrow, and let them wash their garments. In the text, this was so they could meet the Lord on the third day.

Genesis 49:11 Binding his foal unto the vine, And his ass's colt unto the choice vine; He hath washed his garments in wine, And his vesture in the blood of grapes. Meaning, wash your garments in the blood of Jesus, signified by wine.

27:15 And Rebekah took the goodly garments of Esau her elder son, which were with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son. Jacob was given the anointing and double portion of Esau.

35:2 Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the foreign gods that are among you, and purify yourselves, and change your garments. Turn from idols of religion and change your garments.

Leviticus 13:47 The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, (sin-spotted garment) whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment; ... 49 if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin; it is the plague of leprosy, and shall be showed unto the priest... 51 and he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague (of sin) be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, whatever service skin is used for; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean. 52 And he shall burn the garment, whether the warp or the woof, in woollen or in linen, or anything of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire. Many will be sanctified in the fires of tribulation. Also, many will lose their lives in the fires of hell.

14:55 and for the leprosy of a garment, and for a house... Our house or our garment can be spotted by sin.

Deuteronomy 22:5 A woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment; for whosoever doeth these things is an abomination unto Jehovah thy God. Beware of putting on the nature and acts of the other sex. God describes these in scripture; perverted society cannot.

Psalms 73:6 Therefore pride is as a chain about their neck; Violence covereth them as a garment. Pride, judging, criticism, railing, are spiritual violence against others: it is a polluted garment.

109:18 He clothed himself also with cursing as with his garment, And it came into his inward parts like water, And like oil into his bones. They reap what they sow.

Isaiah 50:9 Behold, the Lord Jehovah will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? behold, all they shall wax old as a garment, the moth shall eat them up. Persecutors' garments will be destroyed by the curse.

59:17 And he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a mantle. Before God we wear what we do.

61:3 to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, that he may be glorified. We can wear the nature of evil spirits.

64:6 For we are all become as one that is unclean, and all our righteousnesses are as a polluted garment: and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away. The unclean and polluted in actions are taken away by winds of doctrines and tribulations.

Micah 2:8 But of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye strip the robe from off the garment from them that pass by securely [as men] averse from war. The wicked people of God pervert souls and destroy garments of righteousness.

Malachi 2:16 For I hate putting away, saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, and him that covereth his garment with violence, saith Jehovah of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously. Many divorce without the scriptural reason of fornication or the unbeliever departing. They are spotting their garment..

Matthew 22:11 But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment: 12 and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.

27:35 And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments among them, casting lots. The wicked criticize and despise the actions of the righteous.

Mark 2:21 No man seweth a piece of undressed cloth on an old garment: else that which should fill it up taketh from it, the new from the old, and a worse rent is made. Righteous acts on a sinner's garment are useless and cannot cover them.

10:50 And he, casting away his garment, sprang up, and came to Jesus. We must cast away our old life and come to Jesus.

Revelation 16:15 (Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walked naked, and they see his shame.) Get your garment ready, for Jesus is coming.


Defiled Garments of Death

This dream was about a certain individual but the Lord impressed me that there are many in the larger Church in this defiled state who need to be warned.

On May 9th I had a dream that a certain person was in the hospital, on the "death bed", and I went to visit this person. (A church is supposed to be a hospital where healing and life is given but some die there because they do not listen to and obey the Word. In the parable of the sower, three of four didn't bear fruit of the Word and were cut off. For instance, this person was taught how to not receive accusations against the brethren by thought or Word, but this person would do this until unforgiveness overcame this person, and then faction.)

The next thing I knew, this person jumped out of bed as a small dog. (A dog is depicted as "turning back from the commandment delivered unto them".) {2Pe.2:20} For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein and overcome, the last state is become worse with them than the first. {21} For it were better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered unto them. {22} It has happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog turning to his own vomit again, and the sow that had washed to wallowing in the mire.

The dog looked like a mix between a Chihuahua and something else (in other words, a mutt). (The mixed multitude who were part Egyptian and part Israelite; the lukewarm who are part of the world and part of the kingdom.) The dog was black with some medium-size white spots on the belly area of the dog. (More fleshly works than spiritual - Jude 23; Revelation 19:8. More darkness than light - Romans 13:11-14) (I remember thinking in the dream that it wasn't good that the dog was black with white spots.) (Because it is far better to be a white dog with only black spots. This means much of their nature and works are affected by this sin and others.)

It ran across a street and through a field. (Jesus said the field is the world. Crossing, rather than traveling on the Highway of Holiness, in order to go to the world is turning back from the commandment. {Isa.35:8} And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for [the redeemed]: the wayfaring [those on the broad road] men, yea fools, shall not err [therein]. {9} No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast go up thereon; they shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk [there]: {10} and the ransomed of Jehovah shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Going to Zion represents on the road to being in the Bride. The redeemed and ransomed are there but the foolish and the beast are not.)

I was running behind it until I caught up with it because it was slowing down and wobbling. (Wavering/double-minded; in the world and out.) I knew it would soon collapse and give up the ghost. When I caught up to it, I was telling it assuredly, "Don't worry. It's okay. We'll all be together in Heaven soon". End of dream. (Seeking to reassure them in the faith, which brings justification. This can deliver a person from spiritual death. Also, to "be together in heaven" means unity "in heavenly places in Christ", which implies a hope for repentance.)

I prayed, "Lord, give me a word for this person" and received {Lam.1:3} Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude; She dwelleth among the nations, she findeth no rest: All her persecutors overtook her within the straits. I am asking the Lord to help this person and those like this person to receive the warning so this person won't die in this evil state.


Check Your Clothes, Storm Coming

I dreamed I was sleeping in bed (resting in the Lord) when I was awakened by a voice (the Holy Spirit) which said, "Get up and check your clothes (I believe the clothes represent the righteous acts of the saints) on the clothes line" (the Word of God). So I got up and checked my clothes and they looked fine, so I went back to bed. A few hours later, I heard that same voice again but this time it had a more urgent tone to it: "Get up and check your clothes on the clothes line. A big storm is on the way and you want to make sure your clothes are protected". (A storm can represent any form of judgment but righteousness delivereth from death (Pro.10:2; 11:4) and the Bride's protective garments are the righteous acts of the saints (Rev.19:8). (I believe the Lord was warning me to search my heart with the "Word of God" and make sure there is no unforgiveness or hidden sin before the big storm approaches.) (Psa.139:23,24) Search me, O God, and know my heart: Try me, and know my thoughts; And see if there be any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting. (19:12-14) Who can disceern his errors? Clear thou me from hidden faults. Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: Then shall I be upright, And I shall be clear from great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in thy sight, O Jehovah, my rock and my redeemer.

So I got up and put a veil on my head and headed for the clothes line (meditating on the Word of God and going into my prayer closet to pray). Sure enough, as I looked off to the east, I saw dark storm clouds forming and the wind (eastern wind or evil spirits from the east) was whipping my long hair into my face. (Long hair is a sign of submission. I understand this to mean to make sure I was in total submission to my husband, Jesus; making sure I am not outside of God's governmental order, where I am protected from the eastern wind.) (1Co.11:8-15) For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man: for neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man: for this cause ought the woman to have a sign of authority on her head, because of the angels. Nevertheless, neither is the woman without the man, nor the man without the woman, in the Lord. For as the woman is of the man, so is the man also by the woman; but all things are of God. Judge ye in yourselves: it is seemly that a woman pray unto God unveiled? Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a dishonor to him? But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. It began to thunder so hard, it shook the ground and lightening was piercing through the darkness. (Job37:2-4) Hear, oh, hear the noise of his voice, And the sound that goeth out of his mouth. He sendeth it forth under the whole heaven, And his lightening unto the ends of the earth. After it a voice roareth; he thundereth with the voice of his majesty; And he reigneth not the lightning's when his voice is heard.

Just as I got inside my house (the temple of God) with my clothes (righteous acts), the rain started to come down harder than I have ever seen it rain in my life. It didn't sound like normal rain, so I went over to the window (lamp into the soul) to look at it from inside my house. As I gazed out the window, I saw this muddy, sticky-like rain. (If this evil gets a chance, it will stick to you and you may not be able to get it off. It reminded me of the people who got caught up in those factious spirits; they got hit by this muddy, sticky rain. [This could represent many false, unclean, latter rain anointings by evil spirits coming against the spiritual house of your life.] With repentance and prayer, this muddy rain can be removed.) The rain was streaking down the outside of the window (this evil was on the outside and my soul or thoughts were protected). (Psa.119:105) Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path. Proverbs 6:23: For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; And reproofs of instruction are the way of life. The light, which is "Jesus" in me, was protecting me from this muddy rain. Also, on a physical level, this muddy rain could be contaminated rain due to radiation poisoning coming to this country from Japan. (Mat.9:29) Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it done unto you. We need not fear these things. (Isa.54:17) No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Jehovah, and their righteousness which is of me, saith Jehovah.

This rain became more fierce and intense to the point where I thought it was going to break through the window of my house. I got on my knees and started thanking and praising the Lord for His promises of protection and provision. As I was praying, I heard the Lord say, "Fear not -- your house is strong and this rain will not be able to harm you". (Psa.91:1-3) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust. For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence ... (14) Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. (15) He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him. WOW! What awesome promises! The Lord is showing us that in these coming days of much tribulation and evil abounding, that HIS promises of protection and provision are already in place; we just need to believe and put our trust in Him.

The Passover of the curse is already sacrificed but we must eat only the body, or Word, and blood, or nature, of the lamb to escape judgment. {1Co.5:7} Purge out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, even as ye are unleavened. For our passover also hath been sacrificed, [even] Christ: {8} wherefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. We must put on the garments and armor of salvation. {Rom.13:11} And this, knowing the season, that already it is time for you to awake out of sleep: for now is salvation nearer to us than when we [first] believed. {12} The night is far spent, and the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. {13} Let us walk becomingly, as in the day; not in revelling and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and jealousy. {14} But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to [fulfil] the lusts [thereof].
